TCS New York City Marathon

CVL’s Derek Gilstrap participated in the 50th TCS New York City Marathon on behalf of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation! Congratulations on a great run for a good cause.

Boys Hope Girls Hope Christmas Mart Event

CVL participated in the Boys Hope Girls Hope organization’s “Christmas Mart”. We collected 40+ donations and CVL employees volunteered to set up the event.

The Love of Children Foundation Toy Drive

CVL collected 20+ donations for The Love of Children Foundation’s toy drive.

Phoenix Rescue Mission Fill-A-Bag Thanksgiving Drive

CVL collected 54 Bags to donate to Phoenix Rescue Mission as part of the Fill-A-Bag Thanksgiving Drive. Each bag has the ingredients for a family in need to make a Thanksgiving meal (excluding the turkey).

HomeAid Phoenix Charity Trap Shoot

CVL is proud to sponsor and participate in the HomeAid Phoenix Charity Trap Shoot! This inaugural trap shoot is a building industry charitable event in support of HomeAid Phoenix’s mission to help those experiencing homelessness to build new lives. Funds raised will support HomeAid Phoenix’s housing development and community outreach programs throughout the Valley.

Boys Hope Girls Hope Mock Interviews

CVL participated in a mock Interview event with students in the Boys Hope Girls Hope program to help them to enter the work force. The students were interviewed for a potential job at Harkins Movie Theater. Armed with a set of suggested questions and information about the company CVL employees played the role of a Harkins manager asking the students questions ranging from “Why do you want to work here?” to “If you were a brand of cereal, what brand would you be?” Once the interview was complete, feedback was provided to the students to better prepare them for future job interviews.

Clay for Cause 2019

CVL Consultants sponsored and participated in the Clays for a Cause 2019 event held by Pearce Family Foundation. This year supported the Angel Pups program, which helps children who would benefit from a service animal get one. CANstruction 2019

CVL Consultants participatned in the 13th Annual Phoenix Canstruction. They built Iron Man’s gauntlet with 750 cans of food in about an hour and 30 minutes. Phoenix Canstruction is hosted by the AIA in Phoenix, AZ and all non-perishable foods were donated to St. Mary’s Food Bank. The event continues to set records for donations to wipe out hunger with nearly 64,000 pounds of food donated!

AZ Diamondbacks Race Against Cancer

Our awesome CVL Service Committee participated in the annual Arizona Diamondbacks Race Against Cancer! CVL families completed a one mile family fun walk, while others completed a 5k run!

Toys for Tots US

Our awesome team at CVL donated over a box full of toys for the Toys for Tots US toy drive!

Streetlight USA

We proudly raised $5,850 for Streetlight USA at the Arizona Association for Economic Development Holiday Luncheon. Thank you for everyone’s support and donations!

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul

CVL was pleased to volunteer at The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul to help prepare dinner boxes for our community members in need. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season!

Operation Hydration

CVL donated 8,520 bottles (beat previous year record of 8,088). Donated to both Phoenix Rescue Mission in advance to prepare for the heat wave and also to St. Vincent de Paul of Phoenix.

Bears for the Brave

Each holiday season, CVL supports “Bears for the Brave.” Launched in 1986 by the Phoenix Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit, this program

Hiking Club

Leaving the land better than we found it is the only rule of CVL’s Hike Club. Each month, CVL leads employees, customers, friends and family on a day hike.

Biking Club

Did you know that traveling 48.7 miles by car creates one pound of air pollution? For some, that’s a daily commute! At CVL, we create renewable energy.

Valley Partnership

Each year, CVL supports the “Valley Partnership Community Project” in our hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. Valley Partnership selects a non-profit organization that can benefit from the skills, efforts and supplies provided by partners like CVL, and together, we renovate facilities for those in need.

The Challenge Foundation

For more than a decade, CVL has been a supporter of The Challenge Foundation, which helps hard-working students break the cycle of poverty through educational opportunities that ensure college readiness. We’ve provided engineering internships, sponsored Career Days for students, and individually mentored a Foundation student for three years.

Toys for Tots

For several years, the CVL team in Colorado has conducted a corporate “Toys for Tots” drive each holiday season to collect and deliver toys to deserving young children.
