Project Description: CVL was contracted by the City to evaluate the condition and function of selected existing green infrastructure (GI).  Twelve sites were selected which include four bioswales/bioretention, four pervious concrete and four permeable paver GI types.  Data collection, geotechnical sampling and testing, landscape inventories and site inventories have been completed.  Assessments include comparison of as-built conditions to design plans, infiltration/permeability, plant inventory/health, effectiveness comparison matrix and recommendations for maintenance.  This project provides data on specific, existing GI features for the City’s ongoing efforts in meeting sustainability goals, improving water quality, and providing green spaces for the community.
