2-5 years experience in Civil Engineering is preferred.

Drainage Engineer

Experience with the following hydrologic and hydraulic models is required: HEC RAS, StormCAD, FlowMaster, CulvertMaster

Familiarity with the following methods is required: Rational Method

Proficient in MSOffice and ability to use ArcMap

Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation

Desired skills: HEC-HMS, HEC2, FLO2d

2 – 4 years of experience using hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools to perform drainage studies and designs

Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager

  • Assist the Water/Wastewater Director in marketing and business development efforts to grow the Department.
  • Review assigned projects during pursuit efforts and after award to define scope, develop schedules, determine work programs and needed sub-consultants.
  • Manage a design team in performing project tasks.
  • Work and communicate effectively and regularly with private or municipal clients as well as local state and federal agencies.
  • Make effective presentations to councils, public and selection committees.
  • Maintain project records for client and company purposes.
  • Supervise assigned staff including hiring, firing and performance reviews.

Senior civil engineer/Project manager background requirements:

  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering or higher from an accredited university or college.
  • Must possess 10 years of progressive experience and 5 years in project management.
  • PE or ability to obtain within 6 months for out-of-state candidates.
  • Proven record in consulting firm organization and project delivery.
  • Deliver projects on time and on internal/external budget.
  • Ability to work on and manage a mix of municipal and private projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Local market experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent client connections and ability to develop work.

Senior Project Manager/Associate

Requirements:
BS in Civil Engineering and Professional Registration
Minimum 10 years of excellence in commercial and/or residential infrastructure design and entitlement processing
Minimum 5 years of progressive staff, project and client management
Minimum 5 years of proposal/contract writing and financial management, agency interaction and client representation at public hearings
Familiarity and experience with Front Range Colorado jurisdictions is a plus
Entrepreneurial, dynamic spirit and magnetic personality and desire to collaborate with other seasoned professionals are a collective must
Proven ability to represent CVL in continuous marketing efforts and professional and community events and gatherings is paramount
