Boundary Survey
The Toh’nanees’dizi
Navajo County, Ariz.
Project Description: The Toh’nanees’dizi was a series of four projects on the Navajo Nation. They included the Community Center, Dinosaur Tracks Monument, a cemetery, and the rodeo grounds. CVL was responsible for the verification of the old surveys and conducted an updated boundary survey.
Value Added: Previous surveys that were performed by others were found to be incorrect. Early coordination with the Navajo Nation Chapter House – through meetings and field visits – helped to clarify final boundary survey locations. Corrections to the previous survey prevented construction of retaining walls in the wrong location, thereby saving our client time and construction dollars.
