Project Description: The Gilbert Commons Pump Station was upgraded to accommodate sewage flows of up to 5.7 MGD.  CVL was retained by the Town of Gilbert as the Design Engineer and Construction Manager for the upgrade.  Hunter Contracting was retained as the Construction Manger at Risk.  CVL formulated a Contingency Plan for the operation of the lift station until the Candlewood lift station relief force main was constructed in order to obtain the Approval to Construct from.  Under CVL’s supervision the project was completed to the Town and County’s satisfaction within the budget amount allotted with minimal change orders.  The construction cost of the project was approximately $1.75 million.  Construction was completed and as-builts prepared in 2007.
