Garrett Scanlon-Smith brings over eight years of experience in the electric utility sector. He started his career as a transmission planner where he developed strong engineering expertise that now drives his success as a Project Manager. Garrett’s strong technical background enables him to effectively evaluate project timelines and constructability. Garrett works specifically with high megawatt demand engineering and construction transmission lines and substation for energy-dense facilities. Garrett facilitated projects across the west coast with many of the major utilities. In Arizona, he has worked mostly in the west valley focusing on the data center growth in the area. Areas of expertise include line construction overhead and underground 230kV-12kV, station construction (civil, below grade, and above grade), cashflows, accrual and cash-based accounting, land acquisition, permitting, requests for proposal, reporting, interacting with clients, contractors, and local government officials.
