Mixed Use – Office and Retail

Parker Station
Parker, Colo.

Project Size:  Various sites

Project Description: Parker is a commuter town at the southeastern edge of Denver’s metropolitan area and was only recently incorporated in 1981. CVL has been retained to create numerous mixed-use and commercial sites, including Parker Station.

Value Added: This project involved the creation of a mixed-use office complex along Main Street in downtown Parker, Colo. Two buildings provide of street-level retail space with office suites on the second and third stories. CVL’s project scope consisted of providing site planning and engineering, utility designs, drainage system design and storm water detention facility design.

CVL also was hired to create “The Vines” – an intimate, neighborhood gathering place that needed to fit with the existing buildings in a historic neighborhood. Site layout and grading challenges required that no resulting impacts be introduced to the existing surrounding improvements, while maximizing the building footprint.

In addition, CVL has supported infill parcel development for large, big-box retailers by assessing transportation and site drainage needs, while ensuring best roadway access and visibility for new commercial projects.
