Water Resources

The Water Resources team at Coe & Van Loo has demonstrated exceptional performance in the design of infrastructure and permitting processes.

Recent water work has included the preparation of regional water and reclaimed water master plans for municipal clients in Pinal, Maricopa, and Yavapai Counties; the analysis of assets of private water companies for purchase by municipal water providers in Yavapai County; rate studies; water treatment systems to remove arsenic and nitrates from contaminated water for municipal clients in the Phoenix Metro area and Verde Valley; water distribution system design for 8-inch to 42-inch diameter; booster pumps; reservoirs; and water plan sites.

Our wastewater projects have included master sewer studies in Pinal, Maricopa, Yavapai, and Gila Counties; collection system design for line sizes from 8-inch to 60-inch; lift stations and lift station expansion; treatment plan design, including extended aeration, aerated lagoons, wetlands disposal for municipal clients in Yavapai, Navajo, and Pinal counties; and regulatory permitting through local, county, ADEQ, and federal agencies.

Coe & Van Loo has expertise in obtaining permits and approvals from local, county, and state agencies, including water rights assessment and water supply assurance through Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) and Central Arizona Water Conservation District (CAWCD).
